Vintage early 20th century wood and brass ship's binnacle in wonderful working condition.  The brass and oak elements of this substantial nautical piece have weathered nicely to a very attractive patina. This rare model measures 56" high by 30" wide, ball to ball.  The wooden housing pillar is 14" in diameter and stands upon a 21"x 21" wooden base (see photos).  The brass identification plate reads: "Compass No. 2787 N
