1930 Francis Marine Suez Searchlight

Large, mid 20th century searchlight with a 24" glass lens as found on ships travelling the Suez Canal by night. Made of brass housing and mounted on to an aluminum stand. Measures 28 1/2 inches in diameter not including the bracket arms and stands 72 inches tall as shown. Mounting holes in the round base for securing to a floor surface. The styling though is similar to Francis Marine Suez Lights used by the British Navy.
